COVID Update - Jan 26, 2022
Posted on 01/26/2022
COVID UpdateDear Chester Academy Community,

Today we learned that three (3) students tested positive for COVID. Only Grade 5  has a risk for exposure from these new cases. Principal Lacroix will be contacting close contacts in separate communications.

Once again, I urge you to keep students home from school who are not feeling well or exhibit any of the COVID symptoms. Our collective goal is to minimize school transmission and keep students and staff in-person.  Please err on the side of caution and keep your child home until COVID is ruled out. As you may have heard, every home in the country is eligible to order 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests.  You can order them at https://www.covidtests.gov/

We have a new supply of at-home tests to distribute.  Please let us know if you would like to pick up a test kit.

Here is a link to the NH Department of Health and Human Services updated COVID Guidance on Isolation and Quarantine. Our nurses will work with each family as exposures, symptoms, or cases arise. Please continue to communicate with our nurses and they can help you make sense of the evolving guidance.

Thank you as always for your partnership,

Sharon Locke, EdD
Superintendent of Schools
