Principal ImageDear Chester Educational Community,

For those of you who may not have read yesterday’s letter from Dr. Lockwood, the Chester School Board has adopted the recommended changes to the Reopening Plan allowing us to move into the Adapted in Person model effective Monday, March 29. Those students who were assigned to either group A or group B are now able to attend school in person 4 days a week. Wednesday will continue to be a remote learning day for all students with the exception of preschool students.

The Reopening Plan has been revised to address this change including the elimination of the A/B In Person model and expansion of the point range in the Model Determination table for the Adapted In Person model to < 11.

I am excited to announce that we will be offering all three spring sports at Chester Academy. Tryouts for track, baseball and softball begin next week.

To reiterate from yesterday’s letter, additional opportunities to expand in person learning are being reviewed. We will keep you apprised throughout the process.
