Our students have been doing great with their STEM activities in 2022.
As part of their STEM classes, our 5th graders had the opportunity to construct structures that can survive wind and flooding. This was done as part of their hurricane engineering activity.
In their STEM IA, kindergarten students worked on building boats out of popsicle sticks and straws. The students tested their boats to see if they could float. They also experimented with how much weight their boat could hold until it sank. ⚓️
Chester Academy is proud to have STEM curriculum available for all grade levels. STEM is a common abbreviation for four closely connected areas of study: science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
