We are looking forward to welcoming students back to the cafeteria for lunch starting Monday, March 7, 2022! An updated March Lunch Menu has been posted on the Chester Academy website. There are some changes and are noted in bold print.
Students will no longer be required to take all components offered to make a complete meal. Instead, they need to choose at least 3 with one being either a fruit or vegetable. A variety of fruits and vegetables will be offered at each meal. Milk is no longer a required component. All meals that meet the NSLP requirements remain FREE to all students. Non-compliant meals will be charged al-a-cart.
Milk purchases are $.50.
Chester Academy has a No Charging Policy.
Students in grades 3-8 are able to purchase snacks and al-a-cart items using money from their lunch accounts. All snacks meet the Smart Snack standards set by the NSLP and range between $.50 to $1.00. Students that wish to purchase a second entrée will be charge $2.00. Funds need to be available to purchase these items.
Students K-2 are able to purchase ice cream only and MUST have cash.
